Mr. Adelson explains substance use disorder, provides an assessment framework used to identify severity of substance use, and provides many options for lawyers seeking treatment.

Mr. Adelson is CEO of Federal Compliance Consulting LLC, Potomac, Maryland, and serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and the Georgetown School of Medicine. A former senior attorney of the United States Department of Justice, he is the ADA Consultant to the Idaho Supreme Court and to the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts.
