“Quick” List

All North Carolina CLE Accredited Courses

Attention

All North Carolina
Attorneys!

• Active Members of the North Carolina Bar must take twelve (12) hours of approved CLE during each calendar year.

• Of the 12 hours, two (2) must be in the area of Professional Responsibility (Ethics), Professionalism or any combination thereof, and at least one (1) hour shall be devoted to Technology Training.

• At least once every three calendar years, each attorney must complete one hour on Substance Abuse and Debilitating Mental Conditions.

North Carolina allows you to earn ALL (12) of your CLE Credits, including Professional Responsibility (Ethics), Professionalism, Substance Abuse and Debilitating Mental Conditions, Technology Training and General Credits, through study of our approved interactive Email Delivery, Audio CDs and Flash Drives.

• National Law Foundation is a Registered Sponsor of North Carolina CLE.
Each of these courses has been approved by the North Carolina CLE Board for North Carolina CLE credit.

• After completing your course and submitting a provided Participant Critique to the National Law Foundation, we will report your North Carolina credits (at the end of each month). After they have posted, you will receive an invoice from the NC Bar for the $3.50 per credit fee associated with your participation in these courses.

• The Critique will be returned to you for your permanent records. Retain it to verify your credits against the annual report form you will receive in January every year, showing all of the information that the NC CLE department has on your CLE credit hours for the entire preceding calendar year.

Carry-Over: If a lawyer takes more than the required 12 hours in a calendar year, up to two (2) additional hours of Professional Responsibility and up to ten (10) additional hours of general education may be carried over to the next calendar year. There is no provision to carry hours over multiple years.
